The event will take place at ITC-irst (Povo), Trento, just few days before EACL 2006.

How To Reach Trento

By car:
Along the A22 Brenner Motorway (Modena-Brenner).

By train:
Two main lines reach Trento:
- the Brennero line (Verona-Munich).
- the Valsugana line to Venice.

By plane:
There is no airport in Trento, so if you are planning to travel by plane, you should try to arrive either in Verona (90 km), Brescia (135 Km), Venice (153 km), Bergamo (188), Milan (213 km).

Verona: there are daily flights to and from Paris, London, and Frankfurt, as well as Rome and other major Italian cities. The airbus service to the Verona railway station leaves every 20 minutes, and it takes 20 minutes. Direct trains to Trento take about 50 minutes.

Brescia: International flights from London with the Ryanair Airlines. Connection with the Brescia railway station by bus shuttle. For further information, see: http://www.aeroportoverona.it

Venice: it has international flights. The bus service to the railway station in Venezia-Mestre leaves every 20/60 minutes, and it takes 20 minutes. Trains from the Venezia-Mestre railway station to Trento via Verona take about 2 hours.

Bergamo: There are daily flights from the major European and Italian cities. Orio al Serio airport is directly connected to the A4 Milan-Venice Motorway via the Bergamo and Seriate exits (between Milan and Brescia). The bus service to the railway station in Bergamo leaves every 20/40 minutes, and it takes 10 minutes. Trains from the Bergamo railway station to Trento via Verona take about 3 hours.

Milan: there are two international airports: "Linate" (LIN) mainly for European flights, "Malpensa" (MPX) overseas. The bus service to Milano Centrale railway station takes about 25 minutes from Linate and 1 hour 15 minutes from La Malpensa. From Milano Centrale railway station trains to Trento via Verona take 2 hours and a half. Some trains have direct connections; if not, you have to change train in Verona. We strongly recommend that, in order to avoid sitting in long lines at the railway station, visitors continuing to Trento by rail purchase their tickets at the railway ticket offices in the airport.

Local Transportation
ITC-irst is located in Povo, outside the city center, on the hills east of Trento.

Bus:

from Trento railway station you can catch the bus number 5, every 20 minutes (Sunday every 1 hour). It takes about 15 minutes and the BUS STOP will be POVO centre. From there you have a 5 minutes walk towards Irst. The ticket is € 0,80 (one way) and you can buy it at any newsagent
Taxi:
There are also taxies just in front of the Trento railway station. The cost is around € 15,00. More information at www.taxitrento.it.
